Remember when I wrote about revealing an athlete's glaring weaknesses? Matt Munson, founder of CrossFit Champions, sure found mine (man-makers). I've done about 700 since. Here is the video for the Oktoberfest Obliteration: great scenes, great fight, great soundtrack. Hats off to Chase Ingraham of CrossFit Dallas Central and my lovely wife, Lindsey Smith, for laying it on the line and finishing first. Chase will make his trademark Captain America shirt famous.

This weekend, Alamo CrossFit is hosting their Fittest Games 2009. Lindsey and I are teaming up with Jen Cardella and Michael Winchester of CrossFit Central's coaching staff to take on 20 teams at Alamo CrossFit on Saturday.  The team event is:
For time:
500m weighted team run (45# male/25# female)
20 thrusters per teammate (135# male/95# female)
20 pullups per teammate
20 slamballs per teammate
20 burpees per teammate
500m weighted team run  (45# male/25# female)
We really want to win. With the CrossFit Dallas Central competition coming up in December and sectionals (for me) in January or February, competition is heating up and every second counts. Thank you for your prayers, support, and as always, thank you for reading the CrossFit Chronicles.
