In one of the most significant showings of dedication that we have had in a while, Lindsey and I turned down suite tickets to Rockets v. Lakers, tonight. Dumb? As Winchester says, "Oh,what we do for CrossFit."
As expected, there are kinks in our grand scheme to train at CFC while Alexis is safe and secure with a sitter. Our beautiful friend Vanessa had a scheduling snafu and couldn't watch her while we were at CrossFit Central. No, CF boxes don't have childcare.Uncle Guy Ingram came to the rescue! He lives in Austin (coincidently three miles away from CFC) and called us 2 minutes after I received the news from Bah. Crazy how God works, He didn't give me the time to be anxious about finding childcare. We take her everywhere and we love it but this is one of those instances where we have to be away from her at the same time. Alexis is irritable sitting in that forsaken carseat. She is just as ill-content with being sedentary as her parents are.
